- PLAN AHEAD
You'll
need to be thorough as possible, you're going to need help from your friends, neighbors, family and maybe co-workers.
You need to insure that you will have a camera ready, a crew, a way to edit your film and produce a
final cut. Consider all of the obstacles you will face and overcome them BEFORE the start of the event.
- GET
A CREW
Ask around for who would like to help you for the 48-Hour Film Challenge.
Have a list of people (who may also double up as actors/ crew) who you can call on the day to come and help you out. You may
not need to use everyone who wants to participate, but at least you'll know when you get your film "Inspiration Package" you'll
have a crew waiting for your call.
- GET A CAMERA
If
you already own a camcorder, then you're ready. However, if you don't own one go out and buy one. If you can't afford one,
rent one or ask around and borrow one!
- GET AN EDITOR OR LEARN TO EDIT
How
will you edit your footage down to a 5-minute masterpiece? You need an editor or editing software and you need to learn how
to use it! You might want to check out Adobe Premiere, or Final Cut Pro.
