George Cron

I understand you and SATO are looking for music for film projects.  I do some song writing, as well as my other theatrical talents.  If you click on the link below, you can get an idea of my tunes.  If these would be a genre that would work for some of the films, just let me know.

www.napashamusic.com has a very small sampling of my klezmer and native american flute work.

I am a long-time professional musician and teacher.  I play acoustic instruments, including

*
       variety of Flutes: from classical to folk, Maori, central american and Irish;
*
       Native American Flute
*
       soprano, alto, and tenor recorders
*
       alto saxophone
*
       accordion
*
       piano
*
       voice

My wife Rachael has a marvelous singing voice and a wide range of stylistic capabilities.

I am also a songwriter and can compose songs very quickly.  I enjoy composing the music with other people's lyrics or subject matter.  Most of my songs are for piano & voice, and may include other instruments

I can play and compose music in many styles, including: classical, blues, jazz, folk, sacred, Keltic, pop, klezmer, latin...

I am also a wonderful improvisor and have experiences improvising soundtracks, as well as working with live actors (some of you may have heard my work in the recent performance of Picasso at the Lapin Agile at the Gillioz Theater).

I may have access to other acoustic musicians (drums, percussion, guitar, harmonica) and singers for this project.  We can record our tracks easily on Garage Band files, and work over the internet.  We may consider a jaunt into Springfield (we live in the country, 1 hour north) for a worthy project.   Participants would be welcome to come to us as well.
